Welcome to Mark and Vicki's (or Vic and Markie's) SCI-FI
Info Center. This page is packed with information on Clubs, Events and
other Intergalatic happenings in the Cincinnati-Middletown-Dayton areas
of Southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeastern Indiana. Vicki and
I met as volunteers for the highly successful run of the STAR
TREK: FEDERATION SCIENCE exhibit that inhabited the lower levels
of the Cincinnati Museum Center from February 3 - April 28, 1996.
It was fun dressing up as a member of Starfleet and showing
patrons how to access the many different science stations that were part
of the exhibit. That experience led to not only meeting my future wife,
but making many new friends as well. As a matter of fact around 14 couples
met while volunteering for the exhibit. Since that time we have joined
several Star Trek and Sci-Fi/Fantasy Clubs in and around the area.
While volunteering at the museum Vicki picked up her
nickname of "CAMERAKILLER" when she
killed the museum's polaroid camera. so you can ask her about it. If you have any interest
in Star Trek, Science Fiction and/or Fantasy, please keep reading below.
There are many different clubs in the area that are always looking for
NEW MEMBERS. All cater to different taste too, so if you see something
that you might like to check into further please do so! The bottom line
is that when we all get together,
we always have FUN!!!!!
