For a person to understand his or her past they have many doors that must be open for them to past through. Once a person has open those doors and starts to learn of their past, they find that there is many more doors to the unknown to be open. Many people during their life work hard to find out where their Family Line begin, types of trades that they had, wars that they fought in, Children that they had, places where they lived and how each of them helped in changing the lives and future of each generation that followed after them. Learning about ones Family does not only teach a person of the past but helps a person to understand more about the History of the World and about themself. The Family that I have looked at fits many Families. There was good times, bad times, happiness, sorrow, and pain, but the greatest thing that I have seen from the Haynes Family was the love, not only between themself, but for other people. The past is the unknown, but the past will always affects the lives of all individual in the future.

I hope that you have a great time visiting with the Haynes Family and also visit the site of our Mother and Father James Leroy Haynes, Sr. and Betty Lou Cowan. It is through them that this research begin and hopefully that it will not end when my brother and I are gone. The information that my Brother and I have gathered hopefully will help members of our family understand what life was and what our ancestors went through so that we could be here. In researching our family my Brother and I have found it very exciting for as time has past and people have let the doors to the past shut allot of valuable information has been lost and now that information is gone. I hope that with the help of others, that we may open those doors again so that our family may bring the information together so that others may enjoy it. May God protect our Family "Past and Living" and may he give us the strenght to continue to find out the when, where and hows of our Family Line.
