A replay to a challenge made On 24-Nov-98 by UnderF4331@aol.com:
The sun shined through the window of the red saucer shaped craft to illuminate the sleeping figure of the young Tomobiki high school student, who was getting a few last moments rest before getting ready for school.
Ran, the student in question, was woken up not by the first light of morning, as would be expected, but by a mysterious *swoosh*, then by a *thump*. All returned to normal with Ran's world until a *peck punk* sound reverberated through the ship.
*This* woke Ran up with a start, still wrapped around her Tiger Cow plush toy!
"WHAT in the nine hells was THAT?"
Still in pajamas, she rushed out the door of her ship to see what the matter was. And a large matter it was, for a *HUGE* flock of alien Pigeons had flown from an impromtu vortex, floating right above her ship!
If it was a batch of standard pigeons it would be bad enough with their habit of confusing any stationary object with a toilet. The really bad part was that *these* bruisers thought the ship was some sort of food, and were pecking at it like mad, denting the UFO in the process.
Needless to say, drastic action had to be taken! Needless to say, if the birds were looking for *drastic* action, they came to the right place!
Ran ran quickly into the ship, and rushed even more rapidly to assume position in the gangway, trusty bazooka in hand.
It was just at this moment that Ataru, Lum, and Shinobu passed by on the way to school. "Ran-chan", Lum started. "Why aren't you dressed up for school. You'll be late!"
"These damn alien pigeons are attacking *my* ship! HELP ME OUT HERE, NOW!!!"
The remaining two students stood transfixed by the ongoing disaster until Ran yelled to Shinobu to help out, causing the young girl to yell "With WHAT!?"
Lum then answered, "Darling, go in the ship and get whatever you can to help out. Furniture, desks, whatever." Shrugging, the two student rushed into the beleagered saucer to rise to its defence.
After a few minutes, a crowd had gathered to watch the avian inspired goofyness. One fellow, an exchange student coming in for his first day, turned from the specticle of birds being blasted with bazookas, zapped from an Oni, and attacked with flying furnature to a female student and inquired about the event.
The girl shrugged as if she saw it all before, "Happens all the time. You get used to it!"
"Get used to metal eating pigeons from outer space? Too students zapping, blasting, and throwing desks at them?"
"Yeah...you know, you'd be amazed at some of the attacks people use on pigeons around here." The girl paused. "You'd be amazed at some of the attacks the pigeons use as well."
