The Beach Boys Tour Questions

throughout.
Answer: The concert your looking for took place at "Jamaica Bay" in New York. The Beach Boys also did a 25 yeas together concert in Hawaii, however he say's that Jimmy Page did not perform on
stage. However, in searching for the internet, I did find out that Jimmy Page did perform with the beach boys on stage on July 4th 1986 in Washington D.C.
time the concert was being filmed. Do you know if this concert was ever shown on TV and if so whether copies are still available on VHS or DVD? I would dearly love to get a copy to add to
my collection of Beach Boys memorabilia. My kids have grown up on Beach Boys music, (sometimes to the merriment of their friends because they know all the words to their songs) but
were too young to attend when they were in Australia. My daughter tried desperately to obtain tickets to Brian's recent Smile concert at the Opera House here in Sydney, but was unsuccessful.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Answer: A lot of the Beach Boys concerts were video taped, however only a few of the have been released. Video clips of these concerts have appeared on various Beach Boys Documentaries, and a
few of then have been released on DVD. They just released The Beach Boys 1980 Live in Knebworth England on DVD.

Answer: Before 2003, it looked like the album would never be released, due to the anxiety and personal stress that making the album in the sixties creates. However, we started seeing hints that Brian
Wilson was up to something, because he performed Heroes and Villains on his Tribute Concert. On top of that he performed Wonderful on the I Just Wasn't made for these times Documentary.
As long with Brian working Van Dyke Parks on the Orange Crate Art CD. Then in the Winter of 2003 he announced he was going to perform Smile live in London in 2004. With help from the
Wonderments, they help Brian piece together the fragmented album. Also helping Brian with the emotional pain associated with Smile. Later on that year Brian released on CD, and even on Vinyl.
The record had strong sales for a couple of weeks before sales started to slow down. In 2005, Brian Wilson won his first Grammy for Best Instrumental for Mrs. O'Leary's Cow (Fire). Because
he finished Smile, there is new Brian Wilson that is no longer tormented the emotional luggage of the past, and he can finally continue to innovate music.
