"Baptism," For Sinner, or Saved?

Introduction:
1.We suggest that the Devil who is an evil spirit has done a excellent job in 
deceiving the hearts of Man-kind, He did a job of deception on Eve in the out-set, 
and has continued that dec-eption with Man-kind even today, despite GOD'S warning 
concerning deception. Galatian 6:7-8; 1 Timothy 2:12-14.
2.We suggest that GOD has chosen Baptism to play a great part in HIS plan of 
salvation for Man-kind, and Man must submit to this act in order to please GOD, also 
when He submits to it, it must be in the order that GOD has prescribed, according to 
the Great Commi-ssion. Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-16.
3.Let us seriously study the subject that we have before us today.

(I).THE SINNER AND HIS CONDITION:
A.Lost, No Promise of Salvation:
Acts 4:11-12.
1.Salvation is found only in CHRIST JESUS.
2 Timothy 2:10.
B.The Sinner is in Darkness;
John 12:46; Jeremiah 10:23-24; 1 Corinthians 11:30; 2 Corinthians 4:3-4.
C.The Sinner is Captivated By Sin:
Romans 3:23; 6:23; 1 John 3:4; 2 Timothy 2:24-26. 
1.The Devil is the Sinners spiritual Father. John 8:44.
D.The Sinner Before CHRIST Came Stood In The Condition Of:
1.Without GOD;
2.Without CHRIST;
3.Without Hope;
Ephesians 2:11-14.

(II).THE SAVED AND THEIR CONDITION:
A.The Saved Have The Promise Of Salvation;
2 Timothy 2:10.
B.The Saved Have Forgiveness Of Sins;
Ephesians 1:7; Colossians 1:13-14; 1 John 1:7.
C.The Saved Have Their Sins Washed Away By The Blood Of CHRIST; Revelation 1:5; 
Acts 22:16; 1 Peter 3:21; 1 John 1:7.
1.Let us notice how this takes place; John 19:34; Romans 6:1-5.
D.The Saved Have Redemption:(purchased by CHRIST'S blood).

(III).LET US LOOK AT WHAT GOD PLANNED FOR BAPTISM TO DO FOR MAN-KIND:
A.It Is For Salvation Of A Sinners sins;
Mark 16:15-16; 1 Peter 3:18-22.
B.Baptism Is For The Remission Of Sins;
Acts 2:38.
C.Baptism Washes Away Sins;
Acts 22:16.
D.Baptism Puts One "INTO" CHRIST JESUS;
Romans 6:3-4; Galatians 3:27; 1 Corinthians 12:13. 
E.Baptism Puts One "INTO" The Death Of CHRIST; Romans 6:3; John 19:34.
F.When One Obeys The LORD In Baptism, One Is Freed From Sins; Romans 6:17-18.

CONCLUSION
1.The Sinner Can Obtain These Promises Only By Submitting To Baptism With GOD'S 
Ordained Motive.
